of Scotland, tartan is a colourful woollen fabric born in
the Highlands and of very ancient origin.
In the beginning it was a coarse woollen garment whose colours
were obtained from plants: fern for yellow, myrtle for blue,
gorse bark or broom for green. In
the Highland suite, the "setts" (patterns of the
clans) of the tartans are combined and used to divide space
in a harmony of warm colours.Leather armchairs with the patina
of age, subdued lighting, refined ornaments are all part of
an exceptional setting which has been created for your enjoyment.
